CommutersLink — a social app offering affordable commuting solutions on a long-term basis

Project Description
CommutersLink, initiated by SysReforms International, introduces innovative long-term commuting solutions that go beyond the traditional one-time ride model. It emphasizes cost-sharing and savings rather than earning: individuals find compatible travel partners for shared rides, as car offeror or passenger.
Car offerors save and earn at the same time, while passengers pay only for their occupied seat. CommutersLink determines the optimal per-seat daily cost considering car model, engine capacity, distance travelled, fuel consumption, and a nominal maintenance fee for wear and tear.
The solution contributes to socioeconomic welfare by alleviating traffic congestion, hazards and pollution, reducing government expenditure on infrastructure, and enhancing citizen mental health. It is available on web and mobile, letting users sign up, match, connect, and easily share costs using convenient payment methods.
